Beer For Everybody – Bill 7 Award

Happy Pride Month, folks!

It’s Connor here and I’m excited to spotlight Left Field Brewery in this month’s newsletter, celebrating the opening of their second location in Liberty Village this past November.

This massive new restaurant, complete with a spacious patio, offers a vibrant spot for craft beer enthusiasts and community supporters alike. Founded in 2013 by Mark and Mandie Murphy, Left Field Brewery blends a passion for baseball and brewing, offering a diverse lineup of beers including IPAs, sours, dark ales, crisp and easy-drinking ales and lagers, and hard seltzers.

Left Field Brewery stands out not only for its exceptional brews but also its strong commitment to community and inclusivity, values that align well and resonate deeply with The Fox Team.

This month, they’re featuring the Squeeze Play Rainbow Sherbet Sour, a delightful craft beer bursting with five fruit purees. With each can purchased, $0.50 goes to support Bill 7 Award, an organization funding scholarships for 2SLGBTQI+ students in Ontario.

Since 2016, Left Field Brewery has raised over $60,000 for Bill 7 Award through their Beer For Everybody initiative, helping 2SLGBTQI+ students in overcoming financial barriers to education. This year, Bill 7 Award aims to provide 20 scholarships of $4,000 each, helping students pursue their education and empowering them to become future leaders in their communities.

Next time you’re in Liberty Village, visit Left Field Brewery’s new location at 40 Hanna Ave to enjoy a refreshing brew, and tasty bites and support a worthy cause. Cheers to Left Field Brewery for making a difference, one beer at a time!
