MEET MICHAEL
Finding a place to live in a new city can be an exhausting process – especially when you have a new baby at home. When Michael and his wife decided to settle in Toronto after he finished his medical residency in Northern Saskatchewan, they made their home search stress-free by hiring the Fox Team to help them find the perfect rental.
“Getting a real estate agent was a new experience for me,” says Michael. “I always thought I’d get a real estate agent to get a house, but I felt very positive about it. She got us set up with suggestions and took a lot of the work out of my hands.”

At the beginning of their search, Michael and his wife thought they wanted a townhouse, but Michele from the Fox Team pointed out that they might find it exhausting to constantly go up and down the stairs with the baby.
“She gave me a refreshing breath of realism about what I thought I needed, and what I actually needed,” says Michael. “She was always very upfront about what she thought. She didn’t hold back or sugar coat anything.”
Even once Michael and his family moved into their new home, the Fox Team stayed by their side when they came across a major snag – it turns out their unit had been newly renovated and the contractor had drywalled over all the phone jacks and cable jacks.
“It was a bit of a nightmare, but Michele kept checking in to make sure we were okay and helping us coordinate solutions,” says Michael. “It was definitely a difficult situation that was made easier because I had Michele in my corner helping out.”
“When my wife and I start thinking about buying a house, we’ll definitely contact the Fox Team to help us,” says Michael.
